La actriz se trata desde el año pasado en Nueva York, donde está radicada desde 2020. Recibió mucho apoyo de sus seguidores y decidió retribuirlo con una emotiva publicación.
Tras un tiempo sin tener novedades de Celina Rucci, la actriz reapareció y sorprendió a todos porque reveló que padece leucemia y que está en rehabilitación. Mostró fotos de su lucha, que decidió callar por mucho tiempo, y ahora volvió a hacer una publicación, esta vez para agradecer el apoyo recibido de parte de sus seguidores y generar conciencia.
El fin de semana, Celina contó que tras mudarse a Estados Unidos para vivir con su pareja, el médico rosarino Federico Girardi, ya instalada en Nueva York decidió hacerse unos estudios tras un suceso fuera de lo común.
"Ese mismo día me diagnosticaron Leucemia mieloide aguda y en unas horas me encontraba internada de urgencia en el mejor hospital de New York. Comenzamos de inmediato el tratamiento para vencer a esta enfermedad", había relatado.
Luego contó y mostró con fotos y videos cómo fueron sus días desde mayo hasta ahora, y confesó por qué decidió hacer público todo: "Ayer Salí a cenar con amigos, estábamos felices, celebrando la vida, nos ponemos a bailar y en un movimiento brusco se me salió la peluca, (que llevo por la quimio) me sentí tan vulnerable que no pude volver al lugar".
"Sentí que no pude ocultar más lo que me había pasando, por primera vez me había mostrado enferma a los ojos de los demás y toda esta coraza que vengo armando desde niña para poder sobrevivir en este mundo se me derrumbo en un segundo", expresó.
Durante dos días, Rucci recibió un gran apoyo, y por ello quiso retribuir todo el cariño con palabras. "A veces eso que ma?s temes hacer es lo que te liberara?. Los abrazo y deseo que todo ese amor que tienen y dan les vuelva el doble", escribió junto a una imagen en donde se la ve sonriente antes de viajar a Estados Unidos.
Y finalizó con un mensaje de concientización sobre la importancia de la donación de sangre que es de suma importancia para ayudar a quienes padecen leucemia: "Fuerza para los que necesitan apoyo. Doná sangre".
En sus historias destacadas de Instagram también dejó un lindo mensaje: "Que esto nos enseñe a no juzgar, a no criticar, a no lastimar. Uno nunca sabe qué batalla está enfrentando el otro".
